Abstract
This memo defines the various criteria to be used when designing Autonomous System Border Routers (ASBR) that will be run BGP with other ASBRs external to the AS, and OSPF as its IGP.
What “Proposed Standard” means
An entry-level standards-track specification: stable, peer-reviewed and a solid basis for implementation, though it may still evolve before becoming an Internet Standard.
