RFC 1283, “SNMP over OSI”, is an Experimental document published in December 1991 by M. Rose. It has been obsoleted by RFC 1418 — refer to the newer document for the authoritative version. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
Abstract
This memo describes mappings from the SNMP onto both the COTS and the CLTS. This memo defines an Experimental Protocol for the Internet community. It does not specify an Internet Standard.
