RFC 1159, “Message Send Protocol”, is an Experimental document published in June 1990 by R. Nelson. It has been obsoleted by RFC 1312 — refer to the newer document for the authoritative version. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
Abstract
This RFC suggests an Experimental Protocol for the Internet community. Hosts on the Internet that choose to implement a Message Send Protocol may experiment with this protocol.
