Zamnet Communication Systems Ltd, based in Lusaka, Zambia, was founded in 1994 as the country's first internet service provider and one of the first in Sub-Saharan Africa. Fully owned by the University of Zambia, they provide fixed wireless and fibre broadband, but also offer web hosting, domain registration (including .zm), email hosting, SSL certificates, and website development. Their web hosting plans emphasize unlimited hosting with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Zamnet operates six full Points of Presence across Zambia including Lusaka, Kitwe, Livingstone, Ndola, Kafue, and Solwezi. Support is available Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-1pm, with on-call weekends. They are the custodian of the .zm domain and have been delivering internet solutions for over 25 years.
