Myanmar military coup blackout

After the 1 February 2021 military coup that deposed Aung San Suu Kyi, the junta imposed nightly internet shutdowns, followed by extended mobile data shutoffs, restrictions on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and VPN crackdowns. The mobile data shutoff lasted for months in stages; certain restrictions remain in place years later. NetBlocks documented continuous degradation throughout.
