Algeria annual exam shutdowns

Algeria has implemented nationwide internet shutdowns during the high-stakes baccalauréat exam period almost every year since 2018. The shutdowns are explicitly intended to prevent exam fraud via social media. They typically last several hours each day for the duration of the exams. NetBlocks has documented the pattern annually.
