This is the Arabic test TLD, written as إختبار in its native script. It is one of eleven evaluative internationalized top-level domains created in 2007. No sponsoring organisation is assigned. The domain has never been installed in the root zone. It was intended to test Arabic-script domain functionality.

The TLD was registered on October 19, 2007, as part of a special IDN test program. An IANA report from August 1, 2007, details the delegation of these evaluative domains. It has never been activated in the root zone and remains a test entry.
