.中國 is the Chinese-language country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for China, written in simplified Chinese characters. It is managed by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), the same organization that runs .CN. The domain is intended for use by individuals and entities connected with China, allowing domain names entirely in Chinese script. There are no public restrictions on registration beyond general ccTLD policies, but registrants must follow CNNIC rules. The domain was delegated in July 2010, following a report on its delegation in June of that year. It is one of two Chinese-character TLDs for China, the other being .中國 (the traditional Chinese variant).
