.삼성 is a generic top-level domain for Samsung, the South Korean electronics and technology conglomerate. It is sponsored and operated by Samsung SDS Co., Ltd., the company's IT services arm. The domain is written in Hangul, the Korean alphabet, and is intended for use by Samsung and its affiliates. There are no public eligibility restrictions beyond association with the Samsung brand. The domain was delegated in February 2014, following Samsung's application during ICANN's new gTLD program. It is one of several brand-specific TLDs that allow companies to control their online identity more tightly.
