The .қаз domain is the country code top-level domain for Kazakhstan, written in the Kazakh Cyrillic script. It is managed by the Association of IT Companies of Kazakhstan, based in Nur-Sultan. This domain is intended for use by individuals and organizations connected to Kazakhstan, allowing them to register web addresses in the local script. There are no strict eligibility restrictions beyond a general connection to the country. The domain was registered with IANA in September 2011 and officially delegated in January 2012, making it one of the newer Cyrillic ccTLDs.
