.ଭାରତ domain extension

.ଭାରତ is the Odia language country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for India. It is managed by the National Internet eXchange of India (NIXI), the same organization that runs many other Indian language TLDs. This domain is meant for websites and services that want to use Odia script in their address. NIXI sets eligibility rules. Registrants must have a local presence in India or a trademark registered in India. The domain was delegated to the IANA root zone in 2017, part of a batch of eight IDN ccTLDs representing India in different languages.

Delegated on June 9, 2017, along with seven other Indian language TLDs. This was a coordinated push by NIXI to increase internet access and representation for regional languages in India.
