.tj is the country code top-level domain for Tajikistan. It is managed by the Information Technology Center in Dushanbe. Registration services are available through the official registry website at nic.tj. There are no specific public restrictions on who can register a .tj domain, but the registry generally expects registrants to have a connection to Tajikistan, though the policy is not strictly enforced. The domain was first registered in the IANA root zone on December 11, 1997. The delegation was updated in 2003 as part of a redelegation process documented in an IANA report.
