.sfr
generic
.sfr is a brand top level domain owned and operated by Societe Francaise du Radiotelephone, the French telecom company known as SFR. It launched in 2015 as part of ICANN's new gTLD program, giving SFR a controlled namespace for its online presence. The registry is managed by CentralNic, a well known backend provider. Like most brand TLDs, .sfr is not open to the general public. Registration is limited to SFR and its authorized affiliates, partners, and subsidiaries. This keeps the domain tightly tied to the company's brand and reduces the risk of phishing or misuse. If you see a .sfr site, you can be fairly sure it's connected to the French operator.
Eligibility and restrictions
