The .grocery top-level domain is a brand TLD operated by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., the multinational retail corporation. It was created as part of the new gTLD program to give Walmart a dedicated namespace for its grocery business and related online services. As a single-entity TLD, registration is limited to Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and its affiliates. The domain is managed through GoDaddy Registry as the backend registry provider. The .grocery TLD was delegated in June 2017, giving Walmart a branded internet address for its grocery operations.
