Asia Pacific (Hong Kong)

Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) is a cloud region operated by AWS in Hong Kong, Hong Kong. It is the region you select when you want compute, storage and managed services served from infrastructure physically located in or near Hong Kong.

The region comprises 3 Availability Zones, each a separate physical facility with independent power, cooling and network paths. Workloads distributed across multiple AZs in the same region survive single-facility failures with millisecond-scale failover latency.

The region has been operational since 2019 (7 years).
