SPanel is actually kinda sick

So I moved two of my Laravel apps over to Scala Hosting because I wanted managed VPS without paying Cloudways prices. Their custom SPanel is way better than I expected. It handles everything cPanel does, but it's free and honestly feels snappier.

The managed VPS comes with daily backups, a built-in firewall, and they handle all the server patches. I basically just deploy my code and forget about it. That's the dream, right?

One thing that tripped me up: their nameserver setup instructions could be clearer. Took me an hour to figure out why my DNS wasn't propagating. Turned out I had a typo, but their docs didn't help me catch it.

Overall though? Really solid. I'm paying $30/mo for 4 cores, 8GB RAM, NVMe storage, and I don't have to think about security updates. Good deal.
