Just...no. Move your domains and hosting elsewhere.
Look, I've been building websites since before Google existed. I've used dozens of hosts over the years. And every time a client comes to me with their site on GoDaddy, my heart sinks a little.
The hosting itself is mediocre. Shared plans are overcrowded and slow. The control panel is cluttered with upsells at every turn. Want to add an SSL certificate? That'll be $80/year, never mind that Let's Encrypt is free everywhere else.
Domain pricing is the classic bait and switch. $2 for the first year, then $20+ on renewal. Transfer fees, privacy fees, fees on fees.
Support used to be decent years ago. Now you get agents reading from scripts who try to sell you more products before addressing your actual problem.
I will say this: their domain management interface works fine. But that's not enough to justify everything else. There are better options at every price point in 2024.
